Leadership

Bev Beavers – CEO

Military Service Experience

Beverly “Bev” Beavers retired from the U.S. Army as Colonel in 2019 after serving as a Medical Service Corps officer for 28 ½ years. During those years, Bev deployed in 2003 to Iraq and in 2008 to Afghanistan. She served in many leader developing positions such as Platoon Leader, Company Commander, and Battalion Commander. In addition to those tactical assignments, Bev also served in several senior leadership assignments such as a Combat Developer and Information Systems Management Officer for the Directorate of Combat and Doctrine Development for the Army Medical Department, Commander, United States Army Medical Information Technology Center (USAMITC), the CIO/G6 for the Office of the Surgeon General, Army Medicine, and finished her active duty career at the Defense Health Agency J6 where she led the Infrastructure, Operations and Sustainment Division for 24 months as the Division Chief with the overwatch of providing worldwide 24/7 network support and sustainment operations to the 9.6 million TRICARE health plan beneficiaries of the Military Health System.

Bev’s certifications include being a Department of Defense Level III Acquisition Officer; Information Assurance Manager Level III with the GIAC Security Leadership (GSLC) certification; as well as several other information system DAIWA certifications.

Private Industry Experience

Bev made the transition to her first industry assignment when she accepted a job with Cerner Government Services as the Deputy Program Manager for the Veteran Affair’s Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) Program. The 2018 Cerner Government Services Acquisition award was set in place as a multi-year effort to modernize the VA’s nearly 40-year-old electronic health record system, VISTA. The new EHR, Millennium, gives VA providers secure access to patients’ complete medical history from the time they entered military service through their transition to Veteran status and beyond. The system will improve delivery of care and simplify the patient experience, connecting VA, the Department of Defense, the US Coast Guard, and participating community providers on one platform.

Bev next transitioned to ASM-Research, an Accenture Federal Services Company, as the Director for the Defense Health and Medical Systems Management portfolio. A few of the applications that Bev managed during this time was the Department of Defense Centralized Credentials Quality Assurance System (CCQAS) and the Remote Online Veterinary Record (ROVR) for recording and maintaining veterinary clinical information on the animals they treat. As a subject matter expert Bev provided input for the continual modernization and application support and management to other medical applications and medical devices that exist in the ASM-Research and Accenture portfolios.

Entrepreneurship

In July 2022, Bev transitioned from working for industry companies to pursuing a dream to become an entrepreneur. Bev is the CEO of Procliv-IT, a mission focused and objective ready company specializing in providing technical and professional services to Federal, state, and local government agencies and the private sector. Procliv-IT was incorporated in July 2019.
